Alberto Gomez

Alberto Gomez was born on April 8, 1950, in Huetamo, Michoacan (Mexico). Surrounded by his family, he transitioned on February 19, 2018, in Dallas, Texas, at age 67. 

At an early age, Alberto assisted with his family's cattle and land. A man of superior work ethics, he became skilled in general labor. In March of 1975, Alberto united in matrimony with the love of his life, Antonia. To their union, five beautiful children were born. 

Among many hobbies and interests, Alberto enjoyed taking walks, going out to dinner with his family to his favorite restaurant (Los Amigos), collecting guns, and going to the shooting range with his sons. He also delighted in fishing. Affectionately regarded as "Dad" and "Father", Alberto was an advocate for his family. 

Provider. Loving in his own way. Quiet. Pensive. Punctual. Respectful. Humble. Generous. Organized. Meticulous. Alberto will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was predeceased by his father, Salvador Gomez; mother, Felicitas Garcia; and brother, Raul Gomez. Those left to cherish precious memories include his wife, Antonia; children: Jorge Gomez (Myrna Gomez), Sandra Duarte (Wilmer Duarte), Cecilia Gomez (Oscar Salas), David Gomez (Linda Gomez), and Mario Alberto Gomez; grandchildren: Natalia Duarte, Mateo Gomez, Andres Gomez, Emily Duarte, Julian Gomez, and Isaak Salas-Gomez; siblings: Paula Gomez, Honoria Gomez, Nicomedes Alvarez, Maria Alvarez, Angel Alvarez, and Carlos Alvarez; and a host of other relatives and friends.
