Darrow Walker Obituary

Darrow Glen Walker was born on October 14, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas. He transitioned to eternity on March 5, 2019, in Plano, Texas, at age 66.

Darrow graduated high school and went on to attend Richland College where he focused on Technology. He worked in the technology industry for many years. After approximately 15 years in telecommunications with AT&T, Darrow retired.

Among many hobbies, Darrow enjoyed dining at restaurants of most cuisines, particularly BBQ. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he also delighted in photography and car shows. He most enjoyed spending time with family. Affectionately regarded as "Papi" by his grandchildren, Darrow was friendly and caring. He was a man with an odd sense of humor who loved his grandchildren and was remarkably loving toward his wife.

He was predeceased by his parents, James Walker and Merrie Ross Walker; brother, James Walker; and son, Darrow Walker, Jr. Those left to cherish precious memories include his loving wife, Norma Scott; son, Dondi Walker; daughter, Danielle Cato; daughter, Nicole Mitchell and her husband, Fairo; grandchildren: Darrow Walker III, Devon Walker, Dondi Walker, Jr., Ishmael Walker, Alontra Allen, Diante Walker, Dyeisha Walker, Jazmin Walker, Chandler Mitchell, Christian Mitchell, and Chase Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
