Delores Ann Brown was born on December 31, 1958, in Dallas, Texas. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on July 12, 2018, at age 59.
Delores graduated from Garland Senior High School in 1977. She went on to enjoy a longtime career from 1981 to 1998 with Kraft Foods. She retired as a Data Entry Supervisor.
Among many hobbies, Delores most enjoyed helping others. Affectionately regarded as "Lois Ann", she was known for giving others nicknames - especially those about whom she deeply cared. Delores accepted Christ at an early age. She spent many years working in the church offices where her father was the pastor. At the time of her transition, she was a member of Rivers of Life Church of God in Christ in Waxahachie, Texas, under the leadership of Elder Timothy Sharp.
Witty, strong-willed, and courageous, Delores was a leader and survivor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her husband, Harvey Brown, Jr.; daughter, Delorian Brown; son, Harvey Brown III; parents, Superintendent Tommy L. Chalk, Sr. and Mattie Hicks Chalk; grandchildren: DeVaun Brown, Deion Brown, Bryson Brown, and Chloe Agado; siblings: Sheryel Hill, Debbie Crooms, and Tommy Chalk, Jr.; aunt, Georgia Fields; and a host of other relatives and friends.
