Donna Clark was born on August 29, 1954, in Dallas, Texas. Surrounded by her loving family, she transitioned to eternity with her Lord on August 25, 2018, in Richardson, Texas, at age 63.
Donna graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1972. During her high school years, she participated in Drill Team and various other clubs and organizations. She went on to attend Dallas Baptist University where she focused on Business. Donna had a remarkable work ethic. She enjoyed a career in customer service at GTE for 30 years. In 2003, she retired from GTE and went to work at Verizon for two years. She also worked at Khol's for five years.
In 1975, Donna united in matrimony with Clifford Clark, Sr. To their union, two beautiful children were born.
Donna was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church and faithfully participated in the Girl's Auxilliary (G.A. Girls), Young Women's Association (YWA), and BTU. She also sang in the choir. Affectionately regarded as "Nana" by her grandchildren, she delighted in traveling, shopping, and sewing. She loved her family and was consistently devoted by showing support through her presence for various occasions.
Donna was determined, motivated, caring, ambitious, and strong. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her father, Elmo Terrell, Sr. and brother, Tyrone Andrew Terrell. Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughter, Traneva Clark; son, Clifford Clark II and his wife, Farrah; grandchildren: Tiamber Massenburg, Takiren Clark-Harris, Aysiah Clark, and Layla Clark; father of her children, Clifford Clark, Sr.; mother, Inez Anderson Terrell; siblings: Katherine Terrell, Jeanette "Janet" Houston and her husband, Edward, and Elmo Terrell and his wife, Delores; aunts: Lurlene Terrell, Dorothy Fields and her husband, James, Barbara Terrell-Hillery and her husband, James, and Cordelia Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
