Eric Alan Greene

Eric Alan Greene was born on November 29, 1958. With his family by his side, he passed away on June 6, 2019, from Granulomatosis Polyangiitis Disease. 

Eric was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. After graduating from Louisiana Tech University, he enlisted in the United States Navy in which he proudly served his country. Eric was honorably discharged. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William P. Greene and Joan T. Greene. Eric is survived by his siblings: Joanne Mills, Bill (Jane) Greene, Vicki (Joseph) DiGrado, and Eve (Karl) Freeman; and nieces and nephews: Erin Mills, Adam Mills, Ashley Greene, Antony DiGrado, Nicholas DiGrado, Matthew Freeman, Spencer Freeman, and Travis Freeman.  

Eric was an advocate of blood donation having donated over 90 pints during his lifetime. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Life Share Blood Bank. The donor code for In Memory of Eric Greene is 123270 for blood donations or financial donations. A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 12, 2019 at 11:00am at Northwest Veterans Cemetery located at 7970 Mike Clark Road in Keithville, Louisiana 71407.
