Estelle Gonzales Escamilla was born on September 24, 1953, in Dallas, Texas. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on November 6, 2018, at age 65.
Estelle attended Mesquite High School. She went on to enjoy a career in retail. She also delighted in being a hair stylist and was proud of her cosmetology skills. Estelle retired after 11 years of service at Walmart.
Among many hobbies, Estelle enjoyed dancing, spending time with family, and singing. She especially enjoyed the Tejano and country genres. Affectionately regarded as "Grandma" by her loving grandchildren, Estelle was selfless, loving, kind, forgiving, and long-suffering. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Estelle was predeceased by her mother, Felicitas Rodriguez Lopez. Those left to cherish precious memories include her husband, Jesus Escamilla, Sr.; son, Jesus "Jesse" Escamilla, Jr. (Faith); son, John Phillip Escamilla (Emmy); son, Marco Antonio Escamilla; daughter, Vanessa Christine Escamilla (Angel); grandchildren: Yazmyn, Ivan, Elijah, Alena, Eann, and Angelina; father, Odilon "TaTa" Lopez; siblings: Albino Lopez (Gisela), Eddie Lopez (Sandra), John Paul Lopez (Norma), Louie Lopez, and Renee Lopez; and a host of other relatives and friends.
