Jacquelyn Evett Wallace Parker was born on November 3, 1957, in Paris, Texas. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord and Savior on June 18, 2019, in Plano, Texas, at age 61.
In 1974, at age 16, Jacquelyn graduated from Skyline High School with honors. She went on to attend Dallas County Community College. She also attended Langevin Learning Services where she studied Instructional Design and Project Management. She earned a certification in professional management and enjoyed a career in telecommunications. On January 29, 2018, Jacquelyn retired from AT&T as a Professional Technical Manager after 18 years of service.
She married the love of her life, Larry Parker, Sr., on November 30, 1974. The two were blessed with parenting four sons and remained united for almost 45 years until her transition.
Jacquelyn attended North Garland Baptist Fellowship for several years. Among many hobbies, she enjoyed planning outings; family vacations, especially cruises; playing brain games, especially crossword puzzles; and spending time with family.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maude Effie Wallace, and mother, Dorotha Helen Wallace. Those left to cherish precious memories include her husband, Larry, Sr.; sons: Larry Parker, Jr. (Joi), Ian Parker, Brian Parker (Toryn Wisdom), and Matthew Parker (Liliana); grandchildren: Christopher Parker, William Parker, Allison Parker, and Olivia Parker; sister, Stacy Marciel (Clem); brothers, Stevie Pollard and Phillip Pollard; aunt, Ann Wallace; brother-in-law, David Parker, Sr. (Marie); dearest friend, Barbara Arnick; and a host of other relatives and friends.
