Louise Hall Houze was born in Limestone County, Texas to Lonnie Hall and Jessie May Ross Hall on November 20, 1925. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on June 2, 2018, in Richardson, Texas, at age 92.
Louise was married to Albert Phillip Houze, Jr. for 56 years, and two children were born from their union, Terrance and Rita.
She was a loving caregiver of children. She owned and operated a childcare business in her home for many years. She continued to love her babies and adults she cared for up until her death.
Affectionately regarded as "Granny", Louise had many hobbies. She delighted in cooking, good fellowship, and serving others. Notably, she was the oldest member of North Garland Baptist Fellowship where she served for many years and loved her pastor. A loving, friendly, diva with high standards, Louise will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise was preceded in death by her mother and father; two brothers, Bennie R. Hall and General L. Hall of Tehuacana, Texas; three sisters, Ollie Hall of Tehuacana, Texas, Othela Boyd of Mexia, Texas, and Dorothy Helen Harrison of Garland, Texas; two sisters-in law, Jewel Hall and Juanita Hall; and two brothers-in-law, Fred Boyd and John Harrison.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted husband, Albert Phillip Houze Jr.; two children, Terrance Houze of Frisco, Texas, and Rita Houze-Giles (Darrell Glenn Giles) of Garland, Texas; two beloved grandchildren, Darrell Giles, Jr. and Jade Giles; one brother, Millard “Head” Hall of Tehuacana, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
