Marc Wynter Obituary

Marc Bradley Wynter, also regarded as "Marco Polo" and "Sweetz", began his journey here on earth on July 16, 1986, to the grateful and proud parents, Michael Wynter and Michele Wynter (Busby) in Boston, Massachusetts (home of the reigning Super Bowl Champions). That journey ended, though too soon, when he returned to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on June 14, 2019.

Marc attended Plano Senior High School where he graduated in May 2004. He joined the United States Air Force as an Intel Airman shortly thereafter. After being honorably discharged from his duties, he returned to civilian life. Later, he attended Eastfield College where he graduated with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.

He loved all types of sports, and one of his favorite pastimes was watching any sport in which any of the Boston teams was playing, especially the New England Patriots (Go Pats!). He loved and cherished spending time with his family and friends and was always the life of the party. Marc embodied Christlike behavior, as he always encouraged all those with whom he came in contact to follow Christ’s example here on earth. The light of Christ shined through him. He possessed an infectious smile which would warm the hearts of all those around him. His passion to always assist others led him to work at Best Buy where he met and impacted so many people, including that of his loving wife. From there, he was a math and science educator at Wilmer Hutchins Middle School. He often expressed that his greatest joy came from seeing the positive impact he had on these impressionable children who were eager to learn. At the time of his departure, Marc was employed at BenefitMall as an Account Executive.

On August 16, 2014, Marc married the love of his life, Katie. Together they graciously parented three beautiful children in Garland, Texas.

He was predeceased by his great-grandmother, Louise Rodney, and grandfather, Daniel Williams. Left to cherish precious memories include his loving wife, Katie; children: Courtlyn Harris, Chael Harris, and Collen Harris; mother, Michele Busby; father, Michael Wynter; stepfather, Ron Busby; stepmom, Ann Wynter; grandmother, Cecily Williams; siblings: Nadine Wynter, Michael Wynter, Jr., and Mikayla Wynter; aunts: Angela Wynter-Harris (Earl), Sandra Williams, Denise McDonald (Dalton), and Lorrie McPherson (Robert); uncles, Danhai Williams and Gary Williams; mother-in-love, Nicole Flanders; sisters-in-love, Amanda Flanders and Jenny Morrow (Luke); niece, Giselle; nephew, Michael; and a host of cousins and dear friends.
