Maxine Bryan Obituary

Maxine Bryan was born on December 15, 1932, in Pineville, Louisiana. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on February 7, 2019, in Richardson, Texas. 

Maxine graduated from Marietta High School in Marietta, Georgia. She married the love of her life, Glen Finley Bryan. Three children were born to their union. The two remained united for 48 years until his death. 

Among many hobbies, Maxine enjoyed decorating, holiday celebrations, playing the ukelele and piano, singing and watching sports. She was especially fond of football and baseball. Affectionately regarded as "Grandma" and "Grandma Bling Bling" she took great joy in spending time with family, friends and especially loved spending time with the children.
Happy, loving, joyful, tireless, creative and energetic, Maxine Bryan will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Maxine was a resident of Garland, Texas, from 1957 until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carey Ford and Millie Maud Thompson Ford; husband, Glen F. Bryan, of 48 years who was a lifelong resident of Garland; brother, Bruce Ford; sister, Katherine Snyder; sister, Christy Wilson; and grandson Greg Fratar. 

Those left to cherish sweet memories include her children: Dan Bryan (Marci) of Georgetown, Texas; Dave Bryan (Nancy) of Humble, Texas; and Diana Bryan Foster (Joe) of Garland, Texas; grandchildren: Preston Bryan, Ben Bryan (Lindsay), Bryan Fratar (Jennifer), Jarah Pranjic (Pavlo), Macy Vierra (Jordon), Jack Foster, and Janna Foster; great-grandchildren: Zane Bandfield, Finley Fratar, Logan Fratar, Dominic Pranjic, Aiden Bryan, Brooks Bryan, Grayson Bryan, Nolan Bryan, Kristijan Pranjic, and Jameson Vierra; brother, Obie Ford; and nieces, Millie Barton (Ken) and Christine Barton Egan (Chris) and their children - Greyson, Fiona, and Stella.

She also leaves chosen family members, Ashley Stephens (Jerry) and their daughter - Helen, and Sarah Ursery; and many other family and friends.
