Nancy Brininger was born on August 4, 1962, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Surrounded by her loving family, she went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2019, in Mesquite, Texas.
Nancy graduated from St. John's High School. She went on to attend college and enjoyed a career as a buyer in electronics. Later in her career, she became a buyer in sporting goods. She worked at various companies, some including Crouzet, Extruders, and BSN Sports.
She married the love of her life, Dwight "Bud" Brininger on May 5, 1984. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters. The two remained united in holy matrimony for 35 years.
Among many hobbies, Nancy delighted in gardening, shopping, music, and dancing. She was also an avid fan of the The Ohio State Buckeyes football team. She enjoyed caring for her four legged companions; Beau and Boomer.
A member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Garland, Nancy was a positive, optimistic, selfless, loving, and beautiful soul who was full of encouragement, grace, and thoughtfulness. Affectionately regarded as "Grandma" by her grandchildren who she adored, she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy was predeceased by her father, Michael Rossette, Sr. and brother, Michael Rossette, Jr. Those left to cherish precious memories include her devoted husband, Dwight; daughter and son-in-law, Jenette and Jerrrod Ivy; daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Cody James; grandchildren: Madelyn James, Evelyn Ivy, Graham Ivy, and Baby James whose arrival is anticipated; mother, Ernestine Rossette; siblings: Anita Bihjalama, Susan Rossette, David Rossette (Anita), and Danny Rossette (Marlene); sister-in-law, Sandy Rosette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, November 22nd, at 11:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 950 Trails Pkwy., Garland, TX 75043. A reception will be held immediately following the service at Audubon Recreation Center, 342 W. Oates Rd. Garland, TX 75043.
Memorial donations may be made online to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or Alinea Family Hospice Care at 303 E College St, Terrell, TX 75160 in Nancy’s Honor.
