Norma Humann Obituary

Norma Jane Humann was born on August 8, 1939, in Topeka, Kansas. She passed away on September 18, 2018, in Royse City, Texas, at age 79.

A graduate of Seaman High School in Topeka, Kansas, Norma went on to enjoy working in real estate and collections. She also worked as a legal secretary. Above all of her jobs, she most enjoyed being a homemaker. 

Norma married the love of her life, Ronald Humann, on April 18, 1969. Until her passing, the two remained united for 49 years. 

Affectionately regarded as "Grammy" by her grandchildren, Norma delighted in cake decorating, shopping, and home decor. Enduring, warm, sweet, caring, compassionate, and strong-willed, she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Norma was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Elva Humphrey, and her sister, Donna Cabbage. Those left to cherish precious memories include her husband, Ronald Humann; daughter, Connie Barela and her husband, Manuel; daughter, Michelle Humann; son, Christopher Humann and his wife, Heather; grandchildren: Devin Barela, Joshua Barela, Christopher Barela and his wife, Martha, Auriel Barela and her fiancée, Brandon Avery, Chelsey Humann, and Samuel Humann; and great-grandchildren: Deijah Barela, Madilyn Barela, Zaul Barela, and Elly Avery.
