Patricia Ann Parks

Patricia Ann Parks was born on January 27, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas. She transitioned on August 7, 2019, in Rowlett, Texas, at age 62.

She graduated from Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas. She went on to attend Dallas Baptist University and enjoyed a fulfilling career in adult probation. She enjoyed the last 20+ years at Garland Treatment Center as a drug and alcohol treatment counselor through the probation department. 

Affectionately regarded as "Mama", "Nana", and "Patty", Patricia delighted in crafts, spending time with her grandkids and children, and caring for her dog. She also loved walking and swimming. 

Patricia was kind, loving, nurturing, compassionate, and witty. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her father, John Parks, Jr,; mother, Norma Totty; and Bruce Parks, Ronnie Parks, and Michael Trantham. Those left to cherish precious memories include her children: Elizabeth Abshier and her husband Joshua Abshier, Aaron Johnson, Sadie Aceves, and Sarah Aceves; brother, Kenny Parks; grandchildren: William, Kadence. and Isabella Abshier; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
