Robert Thomas Phifer, Sr.

Born on August 28, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, Robert transitioned to eternity on December 22, 2017, in McKinney, Texas, at age 76. 

Robert graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1959. He went on to attend Prairie View A&M University. He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was a cook and served his country for four years. Upon being honorably discharged, he began employment at Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV) where he worked for 30 years. Robert retired at age 53.

Robert married the love of his life, Cassie, on June 9, 1964. To their union, two wonderful sons were born. 

Affectionately regarded as "PaPa" by his grandchildren, Robert was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed bowling. Sarcastic. A real character. Loving grandfather. Hard worker. Provider. Sports fanatic. Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Robert was predeceased by his parents and five siblings. Those left to cherish precious memories include his son, Robert Phifer, Jr. (Rebecca); son, Eric Phifer; grandchildren: Brittney Phifer, Briana Phifer, Jordan Phifer, and Alexis "Lexi" Phifer; mother of his children, Cassie Phifer; life-long friend, Robert Craft; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
