Rodney Kaufman Obituary

Rodney Bennett Kaufman was born on February 25, 1939, in Kingman, Kansas, to Arthur and Harriet Treweeke Kaufman. He transitioned on January 8, 2019, in Richardson, Texas, at age 79.

Rodney graduated from Augusta High School in Augusta, Kansas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960 when he was honorably discharged. He also went on to attend the University of Kansas. Rodney worked as a banker for more than 25 years before he retired.

An avid KU basketball fan, Rodney also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and traveling. He most appreciated being a grandfather. Rodney will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish sweet memories include his son, William Kaufman and his wife, Nicole; daughter, Heidi Kaufman; and grandchildren: Sara Kaufman, Max Kaufman, Payton Stoops, and Colton Stoops.
