From these services, Ronnie developed a close relationship with several members of the Dallas Cowboys football team. He also proved his ability by becoming a NCAA Division 1 umpire and made a brief but rewarding trip to Major League Baseball in the mid ‘80s. Ronnie was very active in coaching little league baseball all around the Dallas area. Ronnie was also an avid fisher.
