Sterling Geary, Jr.

Sterling Geary, Jr. (POW) was born on July 23, 1926. While captured as a Prisoner of War during the Korean War, it is believed that he passed away on March 31, 1951. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Geary, and son, Danny Geary, Sr., who served in the United States Air Force. Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughter, Tommie Hunt; grandson, David Geary, who served in the United States Navy and will go on to serve in the United States Army; and grandson, Danny Geary, Jr. 

Private First Class Sterling Geary, Jr., was a soldier in the United States Army. On August 7, 2019, Private Geary arrived at Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport to finally be laid to rest with full military honors at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Thursday, August 15, 2019.
