Steven Don Ward

Steven was born on January 28, 1970, in Dallas, Texas. He passed away on January 14, 2018, at age 47. 

Steven graduated from A. Maceo Smith High School in 1989 and went on to enjoy a career in manufacturing and distribution as a forklift operator. He worked several years at Pro-line Hair Products' distribution center. 

Among many hobbies and interests, Steven delighted in watching television and movies. His greatest delight was seeing his daughters blossom. 

Thoughtful. Loving. Respectful. Protective. Caring. Role-model. Light-hearted. Joyful. Generous. Steven will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Maggie Lee Ward; grandmother, Lela Ward; grandfather, Nealon Ward; uncle, Keith Ward; aunt, Deborah Kay Ward; and cousin, Fitzgerald Ward. Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughters, Aerial Ward and Kymdrell Wilkins; sister, Sonya Ward Calhoun and her husband, Craig; brother, Vince Ward and his wife, Tirza; nieces and nephew: Micaiah Calhoun, Shambreka Ward, and Kelton Ward; aunts and uncles: Travis Ward, Beatrice Ward Singh, Connie Ward, Moses Charles Ward and his wife, Margie, Sarah Ward, Nealon Ward, and James Ward; and a host of other relatives and friends.
