Tamara Bolden Obituary

 

Tamara Mae Bolden was born on July 12, 1987, in Lawrence, Kansas. She transitioned to eternity on March 11, 2019, in Dallas, Texas, at age 31. 

Tamara relocated from Kansas to Texas with her family in July 1998. She graduated from North Garland High School and went on to attend Richland College where she focused on Real Estate. She enjoyed a career as a manager in print services until her health declined. 

She was affectionately regarded as "Nunu", "Tam" and "Tammy" by family and friends, and as "Scoomy" by her father. Among many hobbies, she delighted in shopping, cooking, and dancing. She most enjoyed spending time with family, especially her children. 

Tamara was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Louise Turner and Jack Wilbert; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Harris Bolden; aunt, Verna Kay Brown; and uncles: Kenneth Bolden, Ted Turner, Gloster Turner, and Joe Wilbert. Those left to cherish precious memories include her four children: Amya Jeter, Carlisia Collette, Alexandria James, and Jacob Thomas; parents, Lorenzo Bolden and Gloria Ann Bolden; siblings: Tony Turner, Carmen Francine Bolden Turner, Chrystal (Ken) Bolden-Brown, Jonathan Bolden, Joseph Ary, and Justin Smith; grandfather, Jessie Bolden; maternal aunts: Maggie (Eugene) Cosey, Mary (Lee) Hamilton, Chris Longmire, Lola (Andre) Tyree, Sarah (Roosevelt) Neal, Cynthia (Chris) Kratochvil, and Ethel Molly Wilbert; paternal aunts, Glenda Bolden, Zernell Bolden, Gloria Doriann Bolden, and Antoinette Williams; maternal uncles: O.C. Turner, Daniel (Cheryl) Turner, Solomon Turner, Greg Turner, Charles Turner, Chris Turner, and Steven Turner; paternal uncles, Danny (Debbie) Bolden and Michael Bolden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Memorials specifically marked for Tam's sweet children may be made directly to Tamara's family at the visitation which will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20th, at Chamberland.
