Tamica was born on July 16, 1978, in Dallas, Texas. She transitioned to eternity on June 10, 2019, at age 40.
A graduate of North Garland High School, Tamica enjoyed a career as a store clerk in retail. She worked for several companies, including Tom Thumb, Target, and Kmart.
At a young age, Tamica accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Until her health declined, she was a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church where she participated in the choir and step-team ministries.
Affectionately regarded as "Mica" by family and friends, she enjoyed many hobbies which included walking, dancing, taunting her brother, and listening to music. Her favorite music genre was R&B. Kind-hearted, beautiful, funny, outgoing, and loving, Tamica had a memorable comedic perspective. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her mother, Constance Woods; father, Raymond Roberts, Sr.; sons, Dareon Woods and Raylen Woods; sister, Constance "Punkin" Woods (Reggie); brother, Raymond Roberts, Jr. (Casey); maternal grandmother, Norma Lacy; uncles, Otis Woods (Dianne) and Damion Lacy; special brother and sister, Michael and Shantal Taulton; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
