Alejandrina Antonia Sandoval lived a full and beautiful life of 84 years. Born in El Salvador to Andres Pineda and Gertrude Sandoval, she immigrated to the United States in the mid-1970s in pursuit of a better future. She was one of six siblings: Thomas Sandoval, Javier Sandoval, Vitalicia Sandoval, Gladys Moran, and Hemeterio Sandoval.
From a young age, Alejandrina worked in the hospitality industry—a field in which she would dedicate over 40 years of service before retiring. In El Salvador, she owned and operated a beloved in-home café restaurant, where neighbors gathered daily to enjoy her delicious food and warm hospitality.
She married and was the proud mother of four children: Carlos Mauricio Pineda, Gloria Sandoval, Antonia Sandoval, and Herbert Guillermo Sandoval. Though she endured the heartbreaking loss of her daughters, Gloria and Antonia, in infancy, and later her son, Herbert, she carried her faith and love for her family with quiet strength and deep resilience.
Alejandrina gave her life to the Lord and faithfully served as a greeter at Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer, where she was a cherished member for over 20 years. One of her greatest joys and accomplishments was fulfilling her lifelong dream of visiting the Holy Land of Israel.
A woman of unwavering faith and fervent prayer, Alejandrina left a legacy of perseverance and devotion to God. She was a hard worker, remarkably consistent in all she did, and full of quiet intelligence that showed in her resourcefulness, wisdom, and care for others.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving son, Carlos Mauricio Pineda; her siblings, Vitalicia Sandoval, Gladys Moran, and Hemeterio Sandoval; her grandchildren, Jeannette A. Pineda Farfan, Silvia C. Pineda, Mayra E. Pineda, Juan V. Pineda, Jonathan C. Pineda, Johanna D. Sandoval, Herbert J. Sandoval, and David A. Sandoval; and her great-grandchildren, Natalia Hernandez Pineda, Joseph Pineda, Nadia Pineda, Mateo Farfan Pineda, Marco Farfan Pineda, Lucas Farfan Pineda, Navy C. Pineda, Aims C. Pineda, Tony A. Sandoval, Mateo B. Sandoval, and Brooklyn E. Sandoval.
