Alice Johnson Obituary

Alice Faye (Armstrong) Johnson was born on November 26, 1942, in Dallas, Texas. She transitioned on March 4, 2021, in Plano, Texas.

She attended Cox School in Plano, Texas. She went on to enjoy a longtime career in telecommunication customer service at Nortel Networks. In 2006, after many years of service, Alice retired.

Affectionately regarded as "AJ" and "Lovely Lady", Alice enjoyed caring for others, walking, gardening, and writing. She also delighted in reading and cooking. Two of her favorite passtime games were Solitaire and Sudoku.

Alice professed her hope in Christ at an early age and remained faithful to God's church throughout her life. At the time of her transition, she was a steward of Amity Bible Church where she served in the Comfort and Care Ministry.

Alice will be fondly remembered for her magnanimous, tender, and supportive nature. Her loving and warm-hearted spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Lula Brown; sister, Billie Ruth Armstrong; brothers, Ray Armstrong and Bob Armstrong; children, Danny Kelvin Majors and Dwight Eric Majors; and great aunt, Girley Cross. Those left to cherish precious memories include her children: Dwayne Majors (Belinda), Glenda Majors, and Dan Majors II; grandchildren: Meagan Majors, Ashley Majors, Madison Majors, Breanna Majors, and Greame Majors; great-grandchild, Majesti Reese; sister, Joanne Brown; dear friends, Brenda Abdalla (Ahmad) and Sarah Faulkner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
