Ammer Ree Cunningham was born on January 3, 1936, to Vivian Ray and Minnie Ola (Willis) Cunningham in Fairfield, Texas. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on June 12, 2023, in Carrollton, Texas.
Ammer enjoyed a longtime career in assembly at LTV Volt Aerospace and Collins Aerospace. After many years of dedicated service, she retired in the late 1980s.
Affectionately regarded as "Ree" and "Marie", Ammer was married for 19 years. From this union, three beautiful daughters were loved and nurtured.
She accepted Christ and remained steadfast in her faith. Among many hobbies, Ammer delighted in shopping and keeping her nails manicured. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Ammer will be fondly remembered for her compassionate, loving, soft-spoken, prissy, and independent nature. Her beautiful spirit will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Ammer was preceded in death by her father, Vivian Ray Cunningham; mother, Minnie Ola (Willis) Cunningham; four brothers - Clarence Cunningham, Mack Arthur Cunningham, Athel Gene Cunningham, and Luther Ray Cunningham; and two sisters, Roxie Sephus and Amie Ross.
Those left to cherish lasting memories include her daughters - Deborah Mott Taylor (Minister C.R. Taylor), Beckie Mott Young (Al), and Darla Mott Smith (Patrick); grandchildren - Connie Taylor II (Alicia), Brittney Burnley (Preston), Erica Mott, Justin Smith, Christopher Taylor, Craig Taylor (Tennesscia), Melecia Young, and Ashton Young; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Richard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
