Annette Deanna (Coleman) Williams

With loving hearts, we celebrate the life of Annette Deanna Williams, who entered into eternal rest on July 17, 2026. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, compassion, and devotion to God, her family, and community.

Annette was born on December 21, 1959, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Truman Cleolan Coleman and Mary Louise Coleman. She was the eldest of two daughters and accepted Christ at an early age at Calvary First Baptist Church, where she was baptized by the late Dr. Henry Clay Dilworth Jr. She faithfully participated in the church through the Cherub Choir, Sunday School, and youth activities.

A proud graduate of Foy H. Moody High School, Class of 1978, Annette served as First Lieutenant of the T.J. Strutters Drill Team. She participated as a Debutante with the Ladies of Camilla and in the Miss Black Corpus Christi Pageant. She later earned her Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential from Del Mar College in 1979, beginning a career dedicated to caring for others until she retired after 42 years of service. She also enjoyed dancing, fashion, sewing, crocheting, and ceramics, but was best known for her cake decorating and cooking.

On August 20, 1983, Annette married Robert L. Williams, and they made their home in Dallas, Texas, where they welcomed two children, Nicole Vonshae Williams and Quincy Jermaine Williams, who were the pride and joy of her life, in addition to her beloved dogs. She became a faithful member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, serving on the Women’s Ministry, the Bereavement Ministry, and the Beautification Team, until God called her home.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, Truman C. Coleman; her maternal grandparents, Mrs. Johnnie B. McCoy and Mr. Jesse Abercrombie; her paternal grandparents, Mr. Claude V. Coleman Sr. and Mrs. Annie D. Coleman; and other beloved relatives.

She is survived by her children, Nicole V. Williams and Quincy J. Williams of Dallas, Texas; her mother, Mary L. Coleman; her sister, Lisa G. Coleman Bonner (Chad) of Corpus Christi, Texas; her niece, Emorie L. Bonner; her maternal aunt, Kay F. Hill (Willie Thomas); and a host of relatives and dear friends.

Annette will be remembered as a devoted mother, loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and faithful friend. Her kindness, strength, unwavering faith, and caring heart touched everyone she met. Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the presence of the Lord.
