Obituary

Avery Glen Norman was born on October 13, 1993, in Garland, Texas. He transitioned on July 7, 2020.

In 2012, Avery graduated from Garland High School and went on to attend Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas. He earned his certification in Heating and Air Conditioning and worked as a HVAC technician for A Good A/C Company. He also worked at Kraft Foods. 

Affectionately regarded as "Fat Fat" by his sister, Avery delighted in all sports - namely basketball, football, and track and field. Avery will be fondly remembered for his reserved, athletic, and helpful nature. His sweet and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Those left to cherish precious memories include his mother, Karen Norman; grandparents, Homer Anderson (Mildred) and Larell Dixon; siblings: Lonnie Melton III (Danielle), Latachia Melton, and Quinn Melton (Tiffany); nieces: Zaria Serino, Peyton Melton, Brooke Melton, Riley Melton, and Harley Melton; nephews: Lonnie Melton IV, Layson Melton, Landon Melton, and Titan Melton; and host of other relatives and friends.
