Bessie Faye (Goree) Jones

Bessie Faye (Goree) Jones was born on January 18, 1957, to Marvin Goree and Martha Mae Shepard in Caddo Mills, Texas. She transitioned to eternity on July 14, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. 

Bessie received her primary education from Hunt County Schools.

She married the love of her life, Leroy Jones, on June 1,  2012. The two remained united in holy matrimony until her transition. 

Bessie was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Mae Shephard, and sister, Beverly Kaye Jackson. 

Those left to cherish precious memories include her beloved husband, Leroy Jones; children, Marcus Goree (Laconda) and Tasha Goree-Baramola (Ayodele); stepchildren, Clarissa Jones- Robinson (Tony) and Joyce Jones; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; father, Marvin Goree (Betty); siblings, Brenda Williams (Calvin) and Tommy Edwards III (Rhonda); special son, Jamile Jones (Tiffany); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
