Betty Faye (Davis) Higgins

Betty Faye Davis-Higgins was born on October 27, 1932, to Newt and Beatrice Davis in Terrell, Texas.  She transitioned to eternity on September 30, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. 

Betty received her education from Terrell Schools. She went on to become a talented seamstress with a love for crocheting. She enjoyed making hats and blankets for her grandchildren. 

She was devoted to the Lord and was an active member of St. Luke A.M.E. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Newt Davis and Beatrice Davis; two sons, Mark Wilder and Jeffrey Wilder; and one daughter, Willie Faye Harris. Those left to cherish precious memories include her son, Bobby (Bridget) Forman; three daughters: Georgia Forman-Winkfield, Mary Forman-Blair, and Glenda (Pierre) Leffall; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
