Billy Joe Wilson was born on August 29, 1947, to Cecil and Ella Ree Wilson Sr. in Tyler, Texas. He passed away on June 14, 2020, in Dallas, Texas.

Billy relocated to Dallas and began a career with Henley Industries where he worked for over 30 years.

Among many hobbies, he loved all sports, but he was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed talking to his friends and family.

Billy was a hard worker who will be fondly remembered for his determined, loving, and forgiving nature.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil, Sr. and Ella Ree Wilson. Those left to cherish lasting memories include his daughter, Latonya (Felecia) Solomon of Irving, Texas; siblings, Cecil (Pamela) Wilson, Jr. of Tyler, Texas, Roy (Joanne) Wilson of Tyler, Texas, Ruby (Clifton) Smith of Dallas, Texas, Leonard Wilson of Dallas, Texas, Merlene Finney of Forney, Texas, and Earlene Wilson of Tyler, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
