Brayden Tyre McElroy was born to Tiesha Michelle Owens and Brandon Keith McElroy on March 8th, 2002, and departed this earth on April 18th, 2026, at the age of 24.
Brayden was a very boisterous and opinionated person who always spoke his mind. A gentle giant with a heart of gold who deeply valued family, he was the life of the party with his friends and a quiet soul to the family.
Brayden received his elementary and middle school education from Wallace Elementary and Lake Highlands Junior High. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School on May 30th, 2021. He was a very intelligent and athletic young man who received various awards in football, mathematics, and science.
Brayden was well-versed in technology and making other people laugh. With a passion for unique fashion and a love of trail rides, line dancing, and having fun, he had a particular taste in food. Though he only ever ate salads and dipped everything in Ranch dressing, he wasn't afraid to try new things.
Brayden was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Rosie Lee Owens “Madea”, Estelle “Stella” Smalls, Eliza Winn, and Myrtle Webb; his great uncle, Alfred Wilhite; and his cousin, Terrance Ray “Tbaby” Rischer.
Those left to cherish lasting memories include his parents, Tiesha and Brandon McElroy; his sister, Kenadi McElroy; his grandmothers, Rosie Lee Owens and Berna Dean McElroy; his grandfathers, Carl Webb and Sam Winn, Sr. (Leslie); his aunts, Brandy Nunnally (Justin), Traleshia McElroy, Brittiany McElroy, Carletta Webb, ShaMaya Martin (Bobby), and ShaQuana Hudson; his uncles, Teramaine Tatum and Sam Winn, Jr.; his great-aunts, Carolyn Willis (Bobby), Romona Wilhite, Sharon Edwards (EJ), Karen Winn, Valerie Winn, and Pearland Winn; his great-uncles, Michael Wilhite (Sarah), Andrew Wilhite (Karen), Roosevelt Owens (DeWanda), and Kevin Winn (Yolanda); and a host of other relatives and friends.
