Brenda Joyce Dillard Lowe was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on September 29, 1947, to Napoleon and Ida Mae Dillard. Surrounded by her loving family, she transitioned to eternity on December 9, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.
Brenda graduated from Horace Mann High School in the Class of 1965. She enjoyed a career as a Computer Programmer for the State of Arkansas, MCI, and Frito Lay, Inc. She was also an Automotive Dealership Service Trainer for ADP Dealer Services. In 2015, Brenda retired.
Affectionately regarded as "B Lo" and "Lo", Brenda accepted Christ and remained steadfast in her faith. Among many hobbies, she enjoyed shopping at second-hand stores, decorating her condo, gardening, reading, and watching a good western. She most enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Brenda will be fondly remembered for her generous, thoughtful, friendly, and perceptive nature. Her vivacious spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Napoleon and Ida Mae Dillard, and her sister, Deborah Freeman.
Those left to cherish lasting memories include her children - Patsy M. Gatson of Rockwall, Texas, Samuel Lee Lowe, Jr. of Burien, Washington, and Ina Rochelle Lowe of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren - Cameron M. Gatson, Mason C. Stuart, and Scarlett Lowe Lye; her brother, Larry Mitchell; her sister, Donna Livingston; special mentions - Louise Bullocks, Rosa Yarborough, and the Sisters of Esther Bible Study Group; and a host of other relatives and friends.
