Casey Glenn Willis

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Casey Glenn Willis. He was our beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend, who left this world far too soon at the age of 40.

Born on February 17, 1984, Casey was a man whose life was defined by kindness, compassion, and a deep love for those around him. Although Casey never pursued formal education, his wisdom and curiosity about the world far surpassed any classroom. He was a self-taught learner, always eager to explore new ideas and share what he discovered with others.

Casey had a down-to-earth personality and unmatched work ethic, and he dedicated himself to various endeavors over the years. No matter the role, he approached every task with determination and a gentle smile.

Isaiah 43:18-19

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland"

"Meaning regardless of past hurts, pains, betrayal, and/or disappointments; dwelling on the past can limit your future choices, so it's important to focus on the present and what's ahead."  For all is in God's Hands!

Casey found peace and joy in the simple things life had to offer. But it was his unwavering loyalty to family and friends that truly defined him.

Casey’s chivalrous demeanor and warm heart will be missed by all who truly knew him. He is survived by his parents, Glenn G. Loften and Charntelle Willis; his siblings - Pheunda, Tamara, Jamaal, Christopher, Darlynncia, Jasmine, Gabrielle; a host of family members; and countless others who befriended him along the way.

Casey, though battling cancer, showed strength and determination day by day! His physical presence will truly be missed, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Casey. Your love and determination-light will continue to shine in all of us!
