Charlene (Wade) Tucker

Charlene Wade Tucker, 83, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026. She was born on March 30, 1942 in Sherman, Texas.

In 2009, Charlene retired from Richardson Medical Center, where she worked for over 25 years as a phlebotomist. Her favorite pastimes included enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch, fishing, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with family.

Charlene was preceded in death by her grandson, Zachery Vaughan; her father, Charles Thomas Wade; her mother, Duska (Pratz) Wade Bateman; her two brothers, James Wade and Jack Wade; her son-in-law, Dwayne Vaughan; her stepfather, Alvin “Goff” Bateman; and her two furbabies, Greta and Zeldie.

Those left to cherish lasting memories include her son, Charles Day (Kathy); her three daughters, Cissy Day, Sheri Day Quackenbush (Steve), and Holly Day Vaughan; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
