Charles Harding Obituary

Charles Alton Harding was born on March 11, 1956, to Luther Garth Harding and Frances Jeanette (Twiss) Harding in El Paso, Texas. He passed away on April 12, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.

Charles graduated from Burgess High School in El Paso. He went on to attend Stephen F. Austin State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, minoring in Computer Science. Charles was employed as a system analyst for several companies until he retired from his last employer, Keste.

On October 1, 1983, he married the love of his life, Deborah Leigh Bradshaw. The two loved and nurtured two beautiful children and remained united in holy matrimony until his transition.

Among many hobbies, Charles enjoyed volunteering with animal rescues. An avid lover of animals and nature, he loved taking hikes with his dogs, especially on the many trips to Lake Vallecito, Colorado. He supported local animal rescues through volunteer work and donations. Charles also delighted in fishing and was able to take his grandchildren with him at times.

Charles was a risk taker who enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino and investing in the stock market. He never backed down from a challenge and was always willing to take trips overseas for work while taking advantage of sightseeing in all the places he visited.

A generous man with the kindest heart, Charles will be fondly remembered for his silly, adventurous, and reliable nature. His desire to help others was truly admirable. and his loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Charles was preceded in death by his father and mother, Luther and Frances Harding, and his in-laws, Jim and Shirley Bradshaw of Midland, Texas. Those left to cherish lasting memories include his wife, Debbie; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Samuel Blakley of Corinth, Texas; his grandson, Asher; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Megan Bradshaw of Denton, Texas; his grandson, Oliver; his granddaughter, Arden; his brother and sister-in-law, James and Sandra Harding of El Paso, Texas; his niece, Carmen Harding of Austin, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
