Christine Louise Allen Pinkston was born on December 19, 1964, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by her loving family, she transitioned to eternity with her Lord on December 22, 2020, in Crossroads, Texas.
Affectionately regarded as Cpinky, Christine graduated from Madison High School in Houston, Texas. She went on to attend Dallas Baptist University where she earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration. Christine enjoyed a longtime career in telecommunication where she worked at Verizon and AT&T.
Among many hobbies, Christine enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She also delighted in gardening, shopping, and home decor.
Christine was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in The Colony. There, she laboered and served under the leadership of Dr. Gregory Trotter and participated in the Seasoned Ladies Bible Study. She was also involved with Big Sisters/Big Brothers and thoroughly enjoyed participating in Groove Theory Swing Dance.
Christine will be fondly remembered for her nurturing, resilient, joyful, and supportive nature. She was fearless with an admirable strength, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Pedro Allen, Sr.; brother, Bernard Pedro Allen, Jr.; sister, Barbara Jean Allen; and mother, Celestine Allen. Those left to cherish precious memories include her son, Christopher J. Allen; daughter, Ashley M. Clinkscales (Damon Clinkscales); grandchildren: Aniyah, Jadynn, Javon, Marcus, Alena, Jordan, Kyra, Liam, London, Saylar, and Chris, Jr.; siblings: Marie Celeste Grant, Patricia Ann Davis, and Elizabeth Valencia Allen; five nieces; two nephews; 11 great nieces & nephews; fiancé, Paul Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
