Cleveland "Bubba" Dean Lampkin, Jr. was born on February 6, 1956, to Cleveland Lampkin, Sr. and Luvenia Yvette (Robinson) Lampkin in Chicago, Illinois. He transitioned to eternity from this earthly realm on November 26, 2023, in Plano, Texas.

Cleveland graduated from Paul Robeson (formerly Parker) High School in Chicago in 1975, setting the stage for a life filled with remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He enjoyed a long-time career as an International Transportation Specialist, Relocation Expert, and Entrepreneur in the trucking industry. 

On February 7, 1986, Cleveland married the love of his life, Rebecca Lampkin, celebrating a union that endured for decades. He was a faithful member of Mount Hermon United Methodist Church in Ackerman, Mississippi, under the leadership of Rev. Ronald Jefferson. Cleveland served as the first drummer in The Genessee Gospel Travelers Group for eight years, expressing his deep connection to music and spirituality.

Affectionately known as "Paw-Paw", Cleveland was the neighborhood grandfather. He found joy in motorcycles, drag racing, and race car driving. His love for Westerns, drumming, and music was evident throughout his life. A self-proclaimed foodie, he took immense pleasure in exploring and savoring various cuisines during his travels. Cleveland retired in 2007, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. Above all, his greatest achievement was his family. 

Cleveland will be fondly remembered for his reliability, joy, patience, and selflessness. His loving and compassionate spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Lampkin, Sr.; his mother, Luvenia Yvette Lampkin; his daughter, Arkeisha Cunningham; and his sister, Therolyn Jones. 

Those left to cherish precious memories include his loving wife, Rebecca Lampkin; his son, Justin Lampkin; his daughter, Nedra Owens; his grandson, Marcus Johnson; his granddaughters, Alana Johnson and Nyla Johnson; his sister, Regina Lampkin; brother-in-law, Lawrence Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
