Concetta Imperiale Carbone was born on March 19, 1935, in Partinico, Sicily. She transitioned to eternity on May 16, 2021, in Plano, Texas.
Affectionately regarded as “Connie”, Concetta moved to the United States in 1951. On May 15, 1953, she married her soulmate, Frank Victor Carbone, and the two remained united in holy matrimony until his transition.
Among many hobbies, Concetta enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking, and sewing. Concetta will be fondly remembered for her creativity, persistence, resourcefulness, and amazing green thumb. Her energetic and caring nature will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Concetta was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Victor Carbone; parents, Leonardo and Antonina Imperiale; and brother, Peter Imperiale.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughters - Christina Carbone, Frances Grumbein, Judith Behlau, and Suzanne Carbone; siblings - Andrea Imperiale, Elaine Palawasta, John Imperiale, Michelangela Hegarty, Grace Ciafardini, Anne Marie Ciafardini, Domenico Imperiale, and Frances Merletto-Everidge; grandchildren - Katie and David Boyanton and Bethany and James Dorn; great-grandchildren - Allison and Matthew Boyanton and Ruby and Ryan Dorn; special friends - Wade, Travis, Trace, and Zach Andres, Joni Caceres and family, and Krista Knudsen and family; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
