Connie Lee Allen was born on December 27, 1957, to Leroy Lee and Clara Allen in Shreveport, Louisiana. She transitioned to eternity on August 21, 2023, in Mesquite, Texas.
Connie attended L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas. She went on to enjoy a long-time career in healthcare. After many years of service, Connie retired in 2012.
Connie accepted Christ and remained steadfast in her faith. She was a member of the House of Deliverance Church for many years until her grandson became pastor of Greater Davis Chapel Church of God in Christ. She united with Davis Chapel in 2021.
Connie loved to dance and laugh. She will be fondly remembered for her kind, loyal, sassy, and God-fearing nature. Her loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Allen; sister, Annie Lee Dabney; sister, Alice Allen; sister, Willie Bee Henry; and brother, Prentiss Lee.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughters, Junis Chalk and Tarrah Reed; son, Donnell Allen; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters - Diane Elmo, Betty Jean Cooper, Rose Allen, and Alfreda Lee; special sister, Diane Harris; brother, Michael C. Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
