Cornelius “Neal” Louis Beauregard was born to Louis Beauregard and Maggie (Texada) Beauregard on October 30, 1957, in Pineville, Louisiana. He received his early Christian guidance at Second Evening Star Baptist Church in Boyce, Louisiana. Neal rededicated and gave his life to Christ under the leadership of Pastor Orlando Williams, Sr.
Neal was educated in the Rapides Parish School System and served in the United States Marine (Semper Fi).
In March of 1994, he met Alfreda Diane Randle who he affectionately called "Freda"; it was love at first sight. Their meeting led to a relationship and marriage that lasted 30 years. Neal had two children who he loved and cherished, Lavell and Ra’Keisha. Yet, one of his greatest joys was being able to watch his grandchildren - Snoop, Patty Cake, and Tator - grow and flourish.
Neal enjoyed reading and watching old western shows/movies on TV. However, his greatest time was spent being the life of the party and enjoying every moment that he could with his family. At every family event, he could be found in the middle of the dance floor with his sisters and favorite nieces as well as in a circle telling jokes and laughing with his favorite nephews. He was a beloved Saints fan and, win or lose, he always represented.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Beauregard; beloved mother, Maggie “Mary” Brown; stepfather, James Brown; sister, Carolyn Price; brother, Charles Beauregard, Sr.; and step-siblings - Elizabeth Brown, Cecilia Brown, Shepard Brown, and Joseph Brown.
Those left to cherish beautiful memories include his loving wife, Alfreda Diane Randle-Beauregard; son, Lavelle Beauregard (Ivy) of Wilmington, Delaware; daughter, Ra’Keisha Mitchell of Plano, Texas; honorary daughter, Jordann “Nanny Cat” Beauregard of Richardson, Texas; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving siblings - Angela Williams (Orlando) of Garland, Texas, Lovey Gray of Mesquite, Texas, Rena’ Arbuthnot (Willie) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Curtis Beauregard (Rachel) of Opelousas, Louisiana, and Lovell Brown of Alexandria, Louisiana; step-sister, Juliette Brown; step-brother, James Brown, Jr. (Arlene) of Alexandria, Louisiana; mother-in-law, Alfreda Randle of Plano, Texas; brother-in-law, Robert "Tubby" Price of Alexandria, Louisiana; sister-in-law, L.
