Cylestine (Williams) Dedmon was born on November 22, 1939, in Sparkman, Arkansas to Gurley and Ella Mae (Wright) Williams. She transitioned to eternity with her heavenly father on November 19, 2024, in Arlington, Texas.
Cylestine graduated high school and went on to attend Sparkman Training Center. She was employed at Curtis Mathis for several years.
Cylestine accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life. She was fully persuaded that her soul was anchored in the Lord Jesus. Under the leadership of Dr. Tommy L. Brown, Cylestine was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Among many hobbies, she enjoyed shopping at Homegoods. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and especially her "Stinkabutt"!
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Celestine Davis; her sister, Lovie Gunn; her brothers - Garland Williams, Bill Williams, and Lamar Williams; and her son, James Anthony Robinson.
Those left to cherish lasting and loving memories include her brother, George L. Williams; her daughters - Anita B. Edinbyrd (Bruce), Torlease "Lisa" Dedmon (Bob Brown), and Aletha "Karel" Dedmon; her grandchildren - Bryson Robinson, Derrione A. Dedmon (Jessica), DeVorjae "DJ" A. Dedmon, and Dominik A. Edinbyrd; her one and only great-grandchild, Kaiden "K.D." A. Dedmon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
