Dartrell Edward Bailey was born on June 8, 1999, to Louis and Lisa Bailey in Dallas, Texas. He transitioned to eternity on August 10, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.
Affectionately regarded as “Trill Trell Jr.”, which was an homage to his older brother whom he loved so much, Dartrell attended Wylie East High School. He was employed as a delivery driver until his transition. He really enjoyed his job.
Among many hobbies, Dartrell was a very skilled gamer and loved playing Call of Duty on PlayStation, creating Tik Tok videos that recently received over a million views, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his fun, loving, caring, and selfless nature. His smile would light up any room. Anytime he would walk into a room, he would embrace you with a warm hug and a smile. When he left the room, he made sure to say, “I love you”.
Dartrell was a very caring father who would do any and everything for his daughter, Yara. He was also a great father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. His kind spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dartrell was preceded in death his by maternal grandmother, Gloria Jean Ussery; uncle, Michael Hall; cousins, Dekeesha McPhearson, and Bradley Blackshire.
Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughter, Yara Bailey; parents, Louis and Lisa Bailey; siblings, Jelesa Bailey and Montrell Ussery; nephew, Jaceyon Shedd; nieces - Ja’Liyah Bailey, Jaelynn Evans, Riley Chance, and Kentoria Ussery; the mother of his daughter and his dearest friend, Nacobia Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
