Donald Lee Maddox

A time to be born. 

Donald Maddox was born on September 1, 1966, to Charlie Maddox and Lorene Maddox-McNeal in Hermanville, Mississippi.

Time to live.

Donald worked at Bimbo Bakery for approximately eight years. He was a team leader and supervisor of the Union. Among many hobbies, Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, singing, and dancing. Very fortunate to have many friends, he truly delighted in being in the company of his friends.

A time to mourn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Maddox and Lorene Maddox, and brother, Ricky Maddox.

Donald Lee Maddox passed away on March 23, 2023, in Richardson, Texas. Those left to mourn his passing and cherish precious memories include his beautiful wife, Jamila Haji; mother-in-law, Asha Haji; four children - DuJuandria, JuJuandria, Devonte, and Jasmine Maddox; four grandchildren - Tequory, Casey, Jeremiah, and Javen; six brothers - Willie Clyde Maddox (Betty), Larry Maddox (Phyllis), Odell Maddox, and Michael Maddox of Houston, Texas, Ronnie Maddox of Hermanville, Mississippi, and Jerry Maddox (Glenda) of Port Gibson, Mississippi; six sisters - Lesate McGee of Port Gibson, Mississippi, Gloria Edwards of Hermanville, Mississippi, Suzette Becvar of Houston, Texas, Joyce Maddox of Dallas, Texas, Lenora Williams (Victor) of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Cassandra Little (Leon) of Port Gibson, Mississippi; three sisters-in-law -  Fatma and Thureya of Dallas, Texas, and Wahida Haji of Dunstable, United Kingdom; two uncles, Larry and Terry of Minnifield, Louisiana; one uncle-in-law and dear friend, Saleh Shamte; and a host of other relatives and friends.
