Doriane Marie Wead was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, on December 21, 1999. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 1, 2024. She is now resting peacefully in His arms.
Doriane was a beautiful baby with light in her eyes. She had a contagious laugh and smile that lit up the room. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was so talented in art, music, and dance and played basketball in school. She loved being outdoors enjoying the beauty of God’s nature. She was our little butterfly! Butterflies have been considered symbols of hope, transformation, and rebirth. We truly believe she is now transformed into the eternal and beautiful image of God with a body not made with human hands, one that will forever be healthy, happy, and whole!
Those left to cherish precious memories include her father, Darrin Wead; her mother, Kimberly Muhammad; her brothers, Rashad Pham and Gerald Moore; her sisters, Myesha Wead and Aneicia Wolterding; her beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
Our family wants to thank you all for your kindness, love, and support during this difficult time. Be encouraged in knowing that, in Christ, life continues beyond death; for in Him, death has been defeated. Let love and kindness grow us stronger here on earth until we meet her again in Heaven.
