Dorothy Exel (Davis) Turner was born to Joseph Davis and Lillian Davis on September 7, 1939, in Domino, Texas. She transitioned to eternity on October 3, 2023, in Richardson, Texas.
Upon graduation from high school, she went on to enjoy a career working as a Child Nutrition Specialist in the education system. After many years of dedicated work, she retired.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillian Davis; husband, Gene Turner; and great-great-grandchildren, Kingsten Lewis and Kaiser Cooper.
She is survived by her daughters, Jowanda Hughes and Kimberly Coleman; sons-in-law, Robert Hughes and Amondo Coleman; grandchild, Bryson Lewis, Sr.; great-grandchildren: Precious Lewis, Bryson Lewis, Jr., and Brandon Lewis; great-great-grandchild, Naiayla Lewis; father of her daughters, Billy Lewis; siblings: Odessa Woodart, Luana Allen, Geraldine Davis, Joann Mayberry and Andrew Davis; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
