Dr. Robert Andrews Obituary

Dr. Robert Lee Andrews passed away suddenly on April 7, 2023. His family and many beloved friends across the country are deeply saddened by his unforeseen passing.

Affectionately regarded as “Bob Bob” and known by many as “Doctor Bob”, Robert was born on April 30, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bob grew up in Warrington and attended Central Bucks East High School in Buckingham, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and explored the globe during his honorable service. After proudly serving, he found his calling in healing. Bob graduated from Life College West in California where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine. He went on to become a licensed doctor in California, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. Bob’s love of life allowed him to live in and become a part of many communities across the country. He shared his kindness and love as he cared for, supported, and helped so many along the way. Due to his mother’s declining health condition, Bob selflessly put his career and passion for healing others on hold so he could become her sole caregiver. He devoted himself to caring for her 24/7 with so much patience, gentleness, respect, compassion, and love for eight years until her passing.

Doctor Bob moved to Arizona where he found his true BLISS in healing and community in the Snowflake and Taylor area. He was a kind and passionate doctor that absolutely loved his patients and chiropractic family at Compass Medical Center located in Taylor, Arizona.

Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents, Robert F. and Ann M. Andrews, of Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania; and his beloved dogs, Gretta and Mabel. He is survived by his love, Maria Rajao, and dogs - Ella, Marvin, and Beanie of Jacksonville, Florida; his brother, Craig, and his wife, Patti (Tina) Andrews; his nephews, Eric and Zachary Andrews; and his very CLOSE friends he shared his life with, you know who you are.

Bob was a beautiful and genuinely kind person, inside and out, who sought out the goodness and positive energy in everyone and everything around him. He had a tremendous impact on many lives and will be forever missed, fondly remembered, and respectfully revered by the bountiful people he touched, healed, loved, and shared his kindness with.

Bob was a true BLESSING to all those he encountered!

“Doctor Bob” will be honored on May 20, 2023, with a community hike at the Petrified National Forest in Arizona in the morning followed by a Celebration of Life memorial service in the afternoon with a reception immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, all are encouraged to do something kind for someone else, just as "Doctor Bob" would!
