Dwight Majors Obituary

Dwight Eric Majors was born on April 17, 1964, in McKinney, Texas. The youngest of five children, he transitioned on September 4, 2020, in Kaufman, Texas. 

Dwight graduated from Plano West High School in 1982 and went on to attend Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He enjoyed a longtime, self-employed career in home repair. 

Affectionately regarded as "McWhite" by family and friends and "Paw D" and "D Paw" by his grandchildren, Dwight delighted in many hobbies. He enjoyed basketball and track, but he most loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. 

Dwight will be fondly remembered as happy, magnificent, and awesome. His loving and outgoing nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anna Lula Armstrong; paternal grandparents, Dan Majors, Sr. and Lillie Mae Majors; father, Dan Majors, Jr.; aunt, Billie Ruth Armstrong; uncles, Ray Armstrong and Bob Armstrong; and brother, Danny Kelvin Majors. Those left to cherish precious memories include his wife, Patricia Gibson Foster; mother, Alice Johnson; stepchildren: Jessie Ray Foster (Kristi), Jeremy Rand Foster, and Joseph Ryan Foster (Jessica); grandchildren: Jaxson Foster, Jameson Foster, Jocelynn Foster, and Aniston Foster; siblings:  Dwayne Eddie Majors (Belinda), Glenda Majors, and Dan Majors II; nieces and nephew: Madison Majors, Ashley Majors, and Greame Majors; great-niece, Majesti Reese; aunts and uncles: Eugene Majors (Frankie), Herman Majors, Girley Cross, William Majors (Serena), Emma Shaw, Brenda "Aunt Red" Abdalla (Ahmad); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
