Earlie Fair, a beloved father, grandfather, and cherished family member, was born on April 22, 1940, in Mississippi. He peacefully departed this life on September 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, family, and treasured memories.
Earlie was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved staying active, especially taking long walks, working with his tools, and tinkering with things. There was always something for him to fix, build, or figure out. His hands were often busy, but his heart was always centered on the people he loved.
One of Earlie’s greatest joys was spending time with his family. He loved telling stories, sharing memories, and bringing those around him together. His stories, laughter, and presence will remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. He had a way of making ordinary moments meaningful simply by being there.
Earlie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joseph Fair and Ethel Lee Fair; and his brother, Joe Lee Fair.
Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughter, Ethel Lamazon; his son, Joshua Watkins; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Among those carrying his memory forward are Emanuel Watkins, LaConya Jackson, Emanuel Watkins Jr., K’yleigh Jackson, and Kendall Jackson.
As we mourn Earlie’s passing, we also hold firmly to the promises of our Christian faith. We give thanks to God for the years He blessed us with Earlie and for the love he gave so freely to his family. Though our hearts are heavy with his absence, we find comfort in knowing that death is not the end for those who trust in the Lord.
Earlie has completed his earthly journey, but his memory will live on through the lives of those he loved. May we remember him not only with tears, but also with gratitude for every story, every walk, every moment spent together, and every memory that will remain forever.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
May Earlie Fair rest peacefully in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. His earthly presence will be deeply missed, but his love and memory will remain in our hearts forever.
