Elizabeth Faye (Spencer) Grant, 75, was born on July 16, 1949, to Lydia (Martin) Parker and William Spencer in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. She transitioned into God's loving arms on October 2, 2024, in Carrollton, Texas.
Faye, as she was affectionately called, attended Scott Intermediate High School and received her GED. She went on to enjoy loving and nurturing her family as a homemaker.
Faye was a devoted member of The Church of Christ in Coatesville and remained faithful and unwavering in her Christian journey. After her health began to decline, she relocated to Texas in 2022 to be closer to her daughters.
Among many hobbies, Faye enjoyed reading the Bible, cooking, baking (especially "apple crisp"), sewing, crocheting, watching Western shows/movies, and going to the beach. She was a generous, loving, and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, nana, and auntie who made spending time with family and friends a "priority". Known as "Fuzzy" & "Ya Ya" to those closest to her, she was famously known for her "hats", which she would wear to any occasion and church.
Faye was preceded in death by her son, Richard "Ricky" George Grant, Jr.; father, William Spencer, Sr.; mother, Lydia (Martin) Parker; sisters - Betty Westmoreland, Barbra Ashlock, Malvenia Burton, and Linda Lewis; and brothers, Petie Martin and William Spencer, Jr.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughters, Danyell (Richard) Grant-Lowe of Dallas, TX, and Shawn (Christopher) Clark of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren - Alanna (Shawn) Fields of Arlington, TX, Kia (John) Griffy of Colombia, PA, Josh Vance of Portland, TN, Martika Johnson of San Antonio, TX, Gatrel Moore of Lewisville, TX, Christina (John) Rice of Fort Worth, TX, Jada (Caleb) Stankard of Portland, TN, and Noah (Tia) Kimbrough of Nashville, TN; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Barry Lewis of Lancaster, PA; sister, Phyllis Santiago of Norristown, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
