Enjolique Aiyana Narcisse was born on September 3, 2000, to Enjolique Dione Narcisse and Charles Wayne Canady, Jr. in Dallas, Texas. She was raised an only child in a loving home.
Surrounded by loved ones who affectionately called her “Boo” and “Lil Enjolique”, Enjolique was named after her mother. She attended Canady Elementary School and Kimbrough Middle School, and she graduated from Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas, in 2019. She had a particular interest in social and health sciences and pursued a Public Health degree at Prairie View A&M University. Enjolique was a very caring and empathetic young lady, working at an assisted living facility as well as volunteering her time at the North Texas Food Bank. She strongly desired to help others, especially those less fortunate than herself.
Enjolique had a zest for life, enjoyed seeing new places, and wanted to experience as much of the world as possible. She had an inquisitive nature and loved to stay up to date with the happenings in the world around her through news outlets and various forms of media. She enjoyed food and trying cuisines from different places and cultures. She was an amusement park enthusiast and had a flare for adventure. Enjolique also enjoyed shopping, movies, and music. She was a huge Beyonce fan and attended many of her concerts.
Enjolique had a great sense of humor and could put a smile on anyone’s face. She was also quick–witted and had much to say in conversation. She was a very caring, thoughtful, and giving young woman who often thought of others and did small things to bring joy into their lives. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend.
Enjolique touched all blessed to cross her path, whether near or far, in her short life. Since 2020, she had an ongoing battle with Lupus, enduring many complications along the way. On December 13, 2023, God called our angel home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish lasting memories of Enjolique’s beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and loving spirit include her mother, Enjolique Dione Narcisse; her grandparents, Beverly and Willis Narcisse, Jr.; her aunt, Andrea Narcisse; her uncle, Altovise Williams; her cousin, Kai Narcisse; her best friend, Kaiyra; as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
