Eva Mae (Brown) Allison was born on March 21, 1929, to Osie Mae McCoy and John Henry Brown in Dallas, Texas. She was the special granddaughter of Samuel McCoy of Marshall, Texas. Eva transitioned to eternity with her Lord on March 24, 2023.
Eva accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church of Marshall. She remained steadfast in her faith throughout life and later united with Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hosea Allison, Sr.; sons, Robert Gene Allison and Hosea Allison, Jr.; brothers: Eugene, Clifford, Wayne, Ocie, and Walter; sister, Kay; and granddaughter, Joanette.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughters, Gladys Marie Tyler and Nadine McDaniel (Monroe); daughter-in-law, Cynthia Allison; grandchildren: Charlotte Bates (Floyd), Marie (Ann) Tyler, Kanika Coleman (La Monta), Allison Malley (Brendan), Kamila Allison, and Robert Allison, Jr.; great-grandchildren: William, Edward, LaKendra, Deshaundria, and Eva; great-great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kyleigh,.and Zahir; brothers, Roosevelt (Phyllis) and Earnest J. Kyle; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
