George John was born on August 6, 1946, in Mavelikara, Kerala, India, to Chacko Yohannan and Annamma Yohannan. He passed on to eternity on June 8, 2023.
George graduated from MSS High School in Mavelikara. He went on to attend Mohan Engineering College where he studied Civil Engineering. He met the love of his life, and they married on May 12, 1980.
In 1997, he began employment at Parkland County Hospital and worked there until he retired in 2013.
A god-fearing man dedicated to his faith, George was a member of Eagles Nest Cathedral. He was an intelligent, witty, and charming man who loved his family. Among many hobbies, George enjoyed cooking, gardening, singing, and watching cricket and futbol. He also loved doing home improvement projects and watching Christian TV programs. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
George was preceded in death by his father, Chacko Yohannan; mother, Annamma Yohannan; brother, John J.; and son, Robert George.
Those left to cherish memories include his wife, Joyce George; daughter, Jinny George; son-in-law, Charlie Edward; brother, John Mathew; brother-in-law, Joseph Chacko; sisters-in-law - Elizabeth Mathew, Mercy John, and Joyce Chacko; granddaughters - Gabriela George, Abigail George, and Diana Edward; grandsons, Robert George, Jr. and Allan Charles Edward, Jr. "Ace"; and a host of nieces and nephews.
